MINISTRIES

One to One Discipling

Our new discipleship ministry partners a mature believer with someone who would like to grow in their relationship with Christ. We use the One to One Discipleship workbook with lessons on assurance of salvation, attributes of God, the Bible, prayer, the Spirit filled life, fellowship, witnessing, temptation, and obedience.

For more information on discipling a new believer, or being discipled, please contact Ed McCarthy at 801.913.7152 or by e-mail at oneononediscipling@gmail.com.

INFORMATION ON DISCIPLESHIP AT HILL COUNTRY FELLOWSHIP

Whether you have gone to church for years or are giving it a try for the first time, we're here for you. We want to walk with you as you connect to God and connect to others- because we want you to know the life-changing reality of Jesus Christ. This REALity is shown in our lives through:

  • REPRODUCING - Other Disciples
  • Then Jesus came to them and said, "All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have

commanded you. and surely i am with you always, to the very end of the age."

    (Matthew 28: 18-20)

  • ESTEEMING - God Above All
  • Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.

  • ANNOUNCING - The Good News
  • He told them, "This is what is written; the Christ will suffer and rise from the dead on the third day, and repentance and forgiveness of sins will be preached in His name to all nations, beginning at Jerusalem."

    (Luke 24: 46-47)

  • LIVING - For Others
  • For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life as a ransom for many.

    (Mark 10:45)

We serve you and our community in four distinct ways:

    DISCIPLESHIP

"I will put my law in their minds and write it on their hearts. I will be their God, and they will be my people.” Jeremiah 31:33b

    COMMUNITY

"They devoted themselves to the apostles' teaching and to the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer." – Acts 2:42

    OUTREACH

“… the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many." Matthew 20:28

    CARE

"Is any one of you in trouble? He should pray. Is anyone happy? Let him sing songs of praise. Is any one of you sick? He should call the elders of the church to pray over him and anoint him with oil in the name of the Lord." James 5:13-14
