The Church That Connects
Week 7: Care
Luke 5: 17-26

    As we continue in our series we look this morning at the servant who really CARES for others. This great attribute of God is a major key in the ministry of this church. What extent will we go to see people in the presence of Jesus Christ. Do we make excuses or will we find a way to help others? We see four different types of people in the crowd that followed Jesus.

I. The ones who had no hope. Helpless.
II. The ones who brought the helpless to Jesus. Caring servants.
III. The ones that made it difficult. Religionists
IV. The one that made the man new. Jesus.

» Seasoned Saints "Rockbox Theater"- Saturday June 13th, 1:30 PM
» Special Missions Offering- If you would like to contribute to the summer Mission emphasis, we will be taking a special Missions offering Sunday, June 14th.
» Register for Camp HCF!- Join us for a week of day camp, July 20-24 from 8:30 - 5 pm. Cost is $25.00 for completed Kinder thru 4th and $40.00 for completed 5th and 6th grades. Please bring your forms and fee to the church office.
» Children's Ministry- Our children's department is in need of empty 2 liter bottles, empty CD cases, newspapers, and men's old t-shirts for some crafts they will be making. There is a drop box in the foyer. Thanks!!
» Preteen Camp- July 13-17, Glen Rose, Tx. This is an awesome overnight camp for completed 3rd grade thru completed 6th grade children. Please sign up in the foyer at preschool check-in. Questions? Contact Robin Brinkley at 512-756-0886.
» Do you have a heart for small children?- Your passion to love and teach infants through 3 years old is needed!! For more information contact Katina McCurry at 512-755-5445, Shelly Denton at 512-756-0258, or Christina Tucker at 512-778-9155. Allow God to use you to touch a child's life forever!
» Scholarships needed for youth camp- Would you like to help a student go to camp? The cost is $300.00 per student, but any amount will be helpful. Write "Youth scholarship" on the memo line of your check. More info? Contact Mike Hickman at 512-756-8796 or email him.
» Baptism- We will have a Baptism Service on Sunday, June 28th. If you would like to be baptised, please contact the church office.
» Homebound Visitation- Do you know a senior adult or a shut-in who would enjoy a visit from a member of our senior ministry? For more information contact Debbie Cooke at 512-756-8063.
» Naomi's Circle- Will meet the 2nd and 4th Saturday of every month. They will meet in the over-flow room from 10:00-11:30 AM.
» "DRIVE" Youth Fellowship- Wednesday at 6:00 PM
» Youth Drama Team Practice- 4:00 PM Sunday
» Men's Bible Study- Thursday at 6:00 AM
